What I liked

A wonderful play by the playwright. It gave the women so much room to play and not worry about following a linear story-line. The women gave heartfelt performances and you find yourself taken away into this futuristic world of war and survival that feels relevant. Necessary to tell the stories of women in war because as I write there are women fighting now—just to live. And I am a sucker for live music in theatre.

What I didn't like

The tech crew talking during the tech issue of the back board —the fact that I could hear them was quite distracting, along with the fact that to fix the board they ha to keep going through photos to get to the right one….

My overall impression

We need more community theatre pieces that take us into small close spaces and give us relevant, moving, necessary and powerful theatre.
