What I liked

I was lucky enough to watch the premiere of Amy Snowden’s Casting Confessions. I loved the fact that Ms. Snowden gave us an atypical glimpse of what happens to a naive girl from Louisiana that comes to The Big City to make it big. Typically, plays and movies about actors, singers, dancers, etc, always show the protagonist triumphs in the end. This play has you rooting for this young woman from beginning to end as she continues her journey. Anyone who has or has not had a show biz dream can easily understand her struggles.

What I didn't like

I think the show could be longer. There were stories I wanted to hear more of but hopefully there will be a sequel. This could easily be a successful Off-Broadway play.

My overall impression

This was my first show at The Fringe Festival. I look forward to seeing Amy’s show again along with many others.
