What I liked

Come on – what did I NOT like???

What I didn't like

This is something I did AND didn’t like at the same time: throughout the show, as each scene quickly moved characters to new plot points and character development with laugh-out-loud quips and great songs and choreography (all of which, obv, I liked), I kept thinking how jealous I was of the writing and how I aim to write a script that clear and fun (so that’s the “dislike” but it’s more of a “jealous emo artist moment”).

My overall impression

I had a BLAST at THUG TUNNEL! A big leap forward in clarity and storytelling from last year’s TIMEHEART (and let me be clear: TIMEHEART was one of my top five favorite shows last year), RTATAP have created a goofy, energetic, and emotional spectacle worth seeing twice! The performances across the board were terrific but Chris Bramante, Dave Reynolds, and Nikki Muller in particular blow the doors off the place! And Miles Crosman’s “Trash” was a standout! Clever writing, great choreography, great use of the space, great performances. GO BEFORE IT GETS SOLD OUT!

EDIT: This could totally be an amazing Comedy Central animated series, as the characters all fit a zany animated style. LOOK INTO THIS, GUYS!!!!
