What I liked
He was a great performer with a broad emotional range, good voice, and a wonderful ability to tell a story.
What I didn't like
The story was a bit self-serving and melodramatic, which made it really difficult to connect with. I would have preferred hearing a coming-of-age type story to be based on honest to goodness goal setting and fear conquering, rather than a story that seemed to make the storyteller overly cool for little effort.
My overall impression
Can’t say I’d recommend it, as my overall impression is that this performance was meant more for the storyteller than it was for the audience.
