This show was both funny and thought provoking. Willis Cumstone nailed it. The arrogance and self loathing of his character justified the actions and the dialog that carried this play. The use of space on this small stage was also genius. One could almost forget there were actually only 3 walls. Good job!
What I didn't like
The need to move the shelf that held the hemlock was unfortunate. It was a distraction from the events on stage.
My overall impression
This play was thought provoking while very funny. For 90 minutes one considers the complexities of the father-son relationship. Through the extremity of joint suicide, we deny that most die alone. Yet this show confirms that with true love, we don’t really die at all. Good job!
