I love the specificity of the concept, and it’s well-executed— the intimate staging makes you feel like you’re in a Shoplifters Anonymous meeting, as a diverse set of women “confess” their crimes in deftly interwoven monologues. There’s not a weak performance in the bunch. Holman’s often-poetic script explores the nature of desire and impulse, and the shame of consequence and addiction, in ways both insightful and hilarious.
