From the moment he appeared on stage, MPR commanded the attention of his audience with his ability to recount events of MUNGO’s life from rookie to retirement, especially the chip on his shoulder for a lack of recogniition among his peers, as well as his love for his wife.
What I didn't like
Nothing. Fringe was lucky to have the caliber of Jim Brown and Mark Peter Reyna
My overall impression
Great play about a fascinating person. MPR brought this man to life so we could experience the highs and lows of an amazing character from days gone by. You don’t have to be a baseball fan to enjoy MUNGO. Bravo!
