Really well done show showing off that production value does not equal great performances.
This was a stripped down 2 person show with VERY clever use of props and backdrops.
The most clever thing was the back and forth between the two actors and how each one took a different role at different times — sometimes one was the narrator and the other was the primary actor and then they would switch.
Great performances, thought provoking and well worth seeing
What I didn't like
There were pictures handed out at the beginning of the show that I thought would be somehow used in the show.
It was for nostalgia reasons to get you in the mood but I would love if they could somehow use the pictures into the performance — one thought would be to “recreate” one of the family photos by finding people in the audience holding the photo to come up and re-enact the photo
My overall impression
Thought provoking and very well done “small theater” with great acting and great and very effective use of the minimal props and backgrounds
