What I didn't like
Transitions between sections could have used some music, but that’s minor quibbling. It’s the Fringe. This is done with so much heart and soul.
My overall impression
This sexy, heartfelt travelogue has all of Andrea’s signature strengths as a performer (funny, personal, outrageous) and adds a virtuoso level of writing to it. You could almost accuse her of living for material—hooking up with 8 guys in three weeks in Europe-but she dares to reveal how deeply personal the journey was, how vulnerable it made her, and not sugarcoat the ending with false redemption. Andrea’s instincts as an artist are always on-point, and never more entertaining than in SEXYMAUS.
