What I liked

One of my favorite shows at the Fringe! SpiritWheel is a smart, amazingly well conceived parody of Corporate Cult-like Spinning. Verity Branco is a commanding presence and gives, I think, the singularly most powerful female performance of the festival. The direction was message perfect: It was fast and wickedly funny, but also touched on people’s vulnerabilities. Loved it.

What I didn't like

If … and only if … I have to say one thing that didn’t work so well, perhaps Xochitl’s corporate trainer could have gone in a different direction. The voice seemed a bit east coast blue blood and perhaps she’s based on a someone but I didn’t think she sounded so spinish. That said, I loved all character (just not the voice) and all the other characters Xochitl created, most especially that hot trainer everyone wants to have sex with ….

My overall impression

Impressive. Current and relatable.
