What I liked
Everything. Its comedy, its timing, its writing, its theme, its three stars who delivered a little gem of a play worthy of a wider audience.
What I didn't like
The fact it’s not at a bigger theatre. That’s it.
My overall impression
In the heart of Hollywood, SPIRITWHEEL erects one giant mirror and asks the La-La crowd to take a good look at itself. Here’s a perfectly measured play packed with belly laughs AND heart as it pokes well-observed fun at the more phoney aspects of the fitness/spin/positive thinking industries. Well written, this play is brilliantly executed by its three stars, Lindsay Seim, Verity Branco, and Xochitl Romero. Just superb.
