Jessica Moreno and Tom Pilutik took the stage and kept it with mesmerizing performances tackling a classic cross roads for many modern couples who have a successful relationship living together but have not made the leap into marriage. These actors bring passion but also comedy to their opposing sides of the marriage issue. Moreno’s frustration radiates out to the audience as Pilutik gives heartfelt defense to his character’s heady intellectual stance.
What I didn't like
I would have liked a scene including Tom’s drunken friend Pat and his dreadful Mother!
My overall impression
Great fun with lots of laughs but also a sharp edge as the two characters come into real conflict. Absolutely terrific acting and a roller-coaster emotional plot which left me slightly out-of-breath at the end. Excellent theater.
