What I liked
This is a smart, intriguing production that is well rounded, superbly written, and leaves an indelible impression. The story’s pacing captivates your attention from start to finish, with just the right amount of clever inflection points to prevent straying and over-indulgent dialogue. It is an engaging, introspective piece that is highlighted by healthy punctuations of sarcasm and levity, and capped with an ending that is at once satisfyingly succinct and perfect. It lays bare the diverse expressions of grief, the struggle to find closure, and the pitfalls of hope. Reinforced by excellent casting and directing, each character engenders a satiating blend of disdain and sympathy, contributing to a wholly dynamic interplay in the compact setting.
