My overall impression
Four Clowns: Romeo and Juliet is a theatrical treat! The group’s take on the classic tragedy makes for a non-stop night of laughter. Alexis, Kevin, Raymond and Zach are truly gifted, light on their feet and moving effortlessly from scene to scene, engaging with the audience on every level. The production is bare bones and simple: a red curtain, trunk, two ladders and a live pianist. Ridiculous, raunchy, and not skimping on the pathos, 4 Clowns brings to light the Bard’s sense of humour that is so often overlooked. A must! Go!
