What I liked

I found the presentation of Love the Body Positive well worth the drive from Santa Barbara down to Hollywood for a 10:30PM showing. Having been a nudist for over twenty year, I find myself more in the advocate role promoting nude recreation. We learn early on being a nudist is personal chose considered taboo in America today that often comes with a stigma. I was impressed with the positive message delivered by the performance to dismiss the shame of simply wanting to be naked. The one act play delivered a humorous look at some of the problems of going to a nude beach for the first time. If you are considering trying social nudity in a safe environment, the play does a superb job dismissing the misconceptions often associated with our choice to be nude.
It was refreshing to see about a third of the audience was comprised of young people of all races and backgrounds willing to step out of their comfort and try social nudity for the first time. The sharing from the actors on their personal feelings relating to social nudity after the performance was well received by audience. The Q&A session that followed answered many question from the audience not address in the play.
