What I liked

I liked pretty much everything about this show. I liked the opening act a lot. Although I wasn’t nervous or uncomfortable, if this was your first experience being nude in a communal setting like this, having Marty Ross come out sans clothes to do a little comedy definitely helped break the ice and make you relax.

I LOVED the story itself. To be able to fit so much about naturism, nudity and body positivity into a short performance was remarkable. I felt like it hit all the right points and anyone whether they will ever be nude in public again or not will take something from the message.

I think the actors were perfect for this. Although they were attractive people they were also relatable. Talking about bodies and insecurities with a cast of typical beautiful people would have fallen flat. Seeing people, real people talk about their bodies in an honest way, made the message that much more powerful.

What I didn't like

There really wasn’t anything that I didn’t like. The only thing I noticed and this is such a minor thing, is that the dress that Amy was wearing (which I loved by the way), she seemed to have a problem with the zipper at one point and it distracted me a little. Now I’m not sure that is something to even comment on but it is the only thing that popped into my head when trying to come up with a criticism. Maybe a dress that doesn’t need to be zipped? :)

My overall impression

I really enjoyed this show and would recommend that everyone see it. For anyone that just enjoys being nude or the person that is curious about naturism and wonders what the fuss is about or especially for the person that is uncomfortable in their own skin and loves to hate their body, this story will resonate with them all. Even the day after the words are still running around in my head, they were that meaningful to me and I know they would be to many others.
