What I liked

The writing is outstanding: thought-provoking, funny and realistic. The play is staged (producing and directing) very well for such a small venue. The cast is strong: the actors become the characters in real and vulnerable ways.

What I didn't like

There is nothing I didn’t like about the show.

My overall impression

Thought-provoking, funny and real in the sense that the characters force you to reflect on what’s going on in American culture today as it pertains to African-Americans and, most pointedly, African-American women.
