What I liked
Many years ago, Deanna Barone once shared with me her three simple goals for any storyteller: Have fun, communicate and make mistakes. This bit of wisdom has held me in good stead ever since. Her solo show puts all three into practice, taking us on an amazing ride, and shows us how it’s really done with aplomb. “MetaFam” showcases not only Deanna’s amazing gifts as an actor, but as a reminder that we all share the same universal truths no matter where we come from.
