This was as skillfully crafted and honestly performed a one-person show as I have ever seen. The talented Deana Barone jumps deftly from one well crafted family member to another, creating a story-telling mosaic that is at times very funny, quite touching, and finally, fully satisfying. Her improvision and audience interaction seem effortless and seemlessly weave the watchers into the quirky yet universal world of her family and her psyche. Above all, she opens up her heart with a transparency and generosity that ensures her work will be meaningful to all who are lucky enough to be in attendance.
What I didn't like
Would a little sideboob be too much to ask for?
My overall impression
Transparent, fun, meaningful, and exceedingly skillful.
