Someone once said, "Being a man in this world seems to be akin to growing up in a room with red walls and red furniture, but one day leaving and being asked to describe the color red." What an incredible voice booming through this piece! It's like a fierce coming of age, time traveling tapestry with one badass woman at the center. But make no mistake - this is no chick flick imposter. It's a really impactful collection of stand-alone points in time in this person's life that make you want to know more, to know her, to be able to grab just a bit of her spark and moxie. A really impressive debut from a unique and bombastic voice. More, please! ... full review
