Review by KAT MICHELS

June 22, 2016 original article

What I liked

What I didn't like

.

My overall impression

At the end of the day, this show just wasn’t my cup of tea. I am all for humanizing iconic figures by showing their struggles and the darker sides of their lives. However, this show was so completely mired in the dark side of Albert Einstein’s life that I walked away depressed, not moved by all he had to go through to reach his success. Even the final proving of his theory of relativity was colored with heartache instead of joy. I needed some sort of win, some sort of relief for this character, and I never got it. Writer and actor Jack Fry turns in a good performance. This just wasn’t my cup of tea.
