What I liked

I felt transported by this piece. I really felt like I was in the hull of the boat with the cast – who, by the way, are all very strong and fine actors. The old folk songs taking us through each of the scene changes were absolutely lovely. By far the BEST use of minimal sets, costumes, and lights in the entire festival.

What I didn't like

The electrical tape sticking to and pulling my hair where I sat against the wall of the theatre. (It didn’t really bother me, and this has nothing to do with the show, but the fringe website makes you comment in this box…)

My overall impression

This is a solid show that takes you on a journey (on a boat). An impressive cast of actors with clear possession of their craft. Go see this show!!!
