What I liked
Heart wrenching story, terrific acting, the songs brought the piece together and lifted the show to the level of myth. Fully immersed world brought about by the engaging physicality, authentic accents and very believable characters. The piece bounded effortlessly from comedy, to drama, to riveting adventure.
What I didn't like
Maybe could have moved a little faster but I saw a first preview so I think that will come by a couple more runs.
My overall impression
Beautiful and immersive play that transported you into the hull of an english fishing ship. The weight of these mens’ lives was fully present on stage by the terrific acting and ensemble work.
