The Cherry Poppins open the Knock Shop in the Woods to welcome a reluctant Little Rojo. Shenanigans ensue in the best possible ways. CPC always put on good shows, but this tops everything that's come before - witches, genies, princesses, princes, lesbians, and other fictional characters abound! Seriously. See this ASAP. I just saw A Whole NEWD World-Cherry Tales at The Knock Shop, at The Hollywood Fringe Festival last night, and all I can say is WOW!! What a colorful, stimulating, entertaining, fast paced show, full of audience interaction. The costumes were spectacular, and the artists so talented, full of dancing, singing, comedy, and a little naughty, watch out for the fairy glitter dust! I also loved the superb live backing band, which really set the mood. The entire cast was great but I particularly loved the Evil Queen, Tinker Bell, and the Genie. If there is one show that needs to be seen at The Fringe Festival this year, this is the one....not to be missed! Go see this show! It's Vegas meets Disney meets Broadway!... full review

I met the talented Cherry Poppins ladies last year for their show, "The Knock Shop." It was a good show, real good. But nothing like what they've done here. Simply put, this show is a GREAT time. No matter where I looked at what point of the show, there was always something incredible to watch. A super tight band, talented dancers, hilarious numbers and a HUGE cast. Oh my God. The opening number... they fill up the whole room. You're not going to this show for a good plot... but you are going for fun characters, witty, crass jokes, amazing spectacle and music. Did I just go over Aristotle's Poetics? Oh my god, what's wrong with me. Standout number for me, "What Did The Fox Say" - Genius.... full review

A Whole Newd World – Cherry Tales at the Knock Shop mixes Disney princesses and fairy tales with Into the Woods meets cabaret meets burlesque. Cherry Poppins productions, a production company that creates fun interactive theatre experiences with current themes all over the Los Angeles area and the production they’ve brought to this year’s Hollywood Fringe festival is a doozy. A Whole Newd World tells the story of Little Rojo, and the trouble she finds after getting lost on her way to grandma’s house. Each character in this Cherry Tale was a stand out in personality, beauty and talent. A few of the standouts include Tyler Olshansky, who played Lezmerelda had an amazing voice and Brin Hamblin, portraying Pocahotass was an extraordinary danc... full review
