What I liked
I thoroughly enjoyed Vanessa’s one woman autobiographical play intertwining her sex life with her perspective on self worth built around her fear and loathing of the carnal act itself. Now normally, this subject could be a ridiculous exercise in self serving embarrassment, but Vanessa not only presents it as a gifted comedic actress but combines it with well designed emotion and timing. She is not maudlin about her life, just brutally honest, possessing an ability to laugh at herself, one of the criteria of successful comedy, yet can draw in the audience to her soul as she wrestles to find herself. I also thought the inclusion of a giant stuffed bear as basically a stand in for her sex encounters was a clever touch without it drifting into the realm of an overt plushy party.

My overall impression
I recommend this to anyone who has ever had a horrible love life, is in the entertainment industry or just wants to go along with Vanessa on her personal odyssy.
