What I liked

I heard about this show from a good friend, Celina Surniak, before I even knew that this was performing at the Hollywood Fringe Festival 2016. The instant I found out, I eagerly awaited tickets!

This show DID NOT disappoint! I’m an avid stage combat fan (though, not amazing at it myself) and I was blown away by their performance! The combat is spot on (with a missed knap here or there, but who cares? It’s violence!) and the story is so cleverly ridiculous. And the love interest between Cleaning Guy and Margo is to die for!

I would have loved to see more found object combat, but it was PACKED with knife fighting! And the knife throwing gag was SPOT ON! Lost it when Lauren Van Kurin caught three knives at once! Wanna know how? Go see this show!!

What I didn't like

Cleaning Guy didn’t completely clean the spot off the wall.

This is actually a hilarious comedic bit that Pete Caslavka does off to the side during other scenes. That damn spot…

My overall impression

If you are a fan of stage combat, this show is for you! Enjoyed every moment of it! So many knives thrown! So many laughs!
