What I liked

Amazing cast, great writing, and a very intense- kept me on the edge of my seat literally the whole time! I also loved the sense of humor and comedic undertones, keeping it fun while painting the harsh picture of the trials and tribulations of life and the struggle for survival in this crazy world. I thought it was an extremely well executed play on part of the cast; for example you have the young maverick character Marty (played by Edward Hendershott) getting the living shit kicked out of him in one scene and well composed wheeler & dealer handling biz in the very next scene. Not an easy thing to do! Kudos to the whole cast for pulling this off beautifully throughout the play, as it jumps from different points in time of this heavy story.

What I didn't like

With any test run / preview you have a few minor technical snags but of course those kinks will be ironed out and aside from that I can honestly say there’s nothing that I disliked about One Step Over. I thought it was great through and through and the production is off to a very impressive start.

My overall impression

A very moving and well executed production and I can’t wait for the official run this weekend!
