What I liked
GOTTA love The Lamprey!!! Carrie Keranen kills it on all fronts. She’s a tour de force of an actress and she’s never been better than in her role as a manic cop who’s not so great on the work/life balance thing. I truly believe she could stand toe to toe with Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wigg, Kate McKinnon, you name it. She has a Lucille Ball-like commitment to physicality. Her energy is infectious and I have never see a skirt work harder than the one she wears in the show (you’ll understand when you see it, trust me). The whole cast is great, honestly. As is Peter Fluet’s script. This show WILL make you laugh. So come hungry. For laughter. If you love funky 70’s style cop comedy, this is your bag.
What I didn't like
I was a liiiiiittle confused by some of the multiple roles being played but some actors, but ultimately it didn’t really affect my understanding of the overall plot.
