Black Widow Laughs is sexy, smart, funny and the characters are clearly portrayed and puts you in in an era Long Gone By. Each character was distinctly identifiable from early Americana lore. Nina has impressed me once again, with her cute energy, and witty dialogue. There were hints of use of Ann Bogarts Viewpoints and I could not stop thinking about the great use of that technique.
What I didn't like
While I get that the writing and dialogue had to be the way it was because of the era it represented, today’s theatre going society is no where near as cerebral as it once was, and the dialogue may have been too “Old Timey Americana.” But I am smart and I got it, I am just saying.
