It you are one of the many “Game of Thrones” fans, then this is the show for you. The musical for you in fact. The original songs by Laura Wiley, are clever and there are several exceptional voices in the cast. Megan Watt as Daenerys Targaryen, stops the show with her “Call Me Khaleesi.” The show is tongue in cheek and comments on all of the most outlandish moments of season one. The dialogue between numbers has a tendency to drag, and a few of the performances are a bit wooden, but overall this show delivers. “I’m King Now, Bitches” performed by Tony Cellucci as Joffrey is delightful, as is his beheading of Ned Stark. Cellucci somehow manages to be sadistic and adorable all at the same time. There’s also tap dancing (because why not?), but ... full review

I would say, if you have time, enjoy theatre, and love parodies of good shows. Take the time to see Winter is Coming. The costumes were fantastic, the humor was great, the actors were enjoyable. This is the Game of Thrones parody musical the world has been waiting for. If you are a fan of the show (even if you aren't) you will not be disappointed. The songs are catchy and the writing is witty and hilarious. Khaleesi belting out "Call Me Khaleesi" is a showstopper, Cersei is spot on and Joffery tap dances! Fun and just the right amount of sex and sword fighting that every GOT parody needs. This is definitely a must see.... full review

I was very impressed with Winter Is Coming! This is the second show that I had seen by these guys (recognized them in the introduction). And this was just as amazing as their first show, the Video Games. Because Game Of Thrones is now on Season 6 and obviously so much has happened, this show really focuses on the first season. But everything is very accurate to the plot line of the series and very easy to follow, even if you don't watch the show. The portrayal of Cersei Lannister was literally spot on. Daenerys was such a talented singer! Kudos to Jon Snow who even in a parody gave me the feels. Overall, the entire cast and ensemble did a phenomenal job.... full review

Very clever writing, smart lyrics, and sharp re-telling of Season 1 of GoT. Great use of a sparse set and 'period costumes' in a Fringe show. Kahleesi (Megan Watt) is a stand out in both charming comedic timing and a strong rock voice.... full review

Great big cast for such a little black box but quite effectively staged and maintained over the course of seventy minutes. It's certainly a parody I can see garnering fan-love throughout the healthy GOT base, if you know what I mean. Funnier than most parody pieces I've ever seen.... full review
