It all worked. Things that can’t be controlled happen in live theatre, however Terra expertly makes them work to her benefit and keeps the momentum of the show on course.
My overall impression
Willy’s Lil Virgin Queen has something for everyone. A real, heartwarming, heartbreaking, and inspirational account of Terra’s journey through the chaos known as life. Her ability to weave Shakespeare’s life story and writings, as well as entire lesson on England’s monarchs, into her very personal journey is phenomenal. Terra engaged the audience from the moment she took the stage. She had us laughing, audibly sighing, sitting on the edge of our seat, and shedding a tear or two. She expertly guided us through the plethora of emotions contained in both the time honored Shakespearean tales and her life’s journey. Ultimately leaving us all feeling entirely connected to Willy and his Lil Virgin Queen.
