Very well structured one woman show. Had a real pace and flow that brought us on an emotional journey through solid, three act structure. Regardless of the Shakespearian conciet, the script really discisses finding, owning and standing in the power of your wants as dreams. This is less a story of Shakespeare’s narratives and more a store of finding and living one’s own narrative as a creative human.
What I didn't like
The staging relied on a few technical devices that did enhance the show, but were not entirely necessary. The performer’s connection to the material, the telling of her story, came across strongest in the simplicity of performance.
My overall impression
A wonderful look at the bard’s ovre as a narrative structure for a solid, personal female coming of age story.
