I loved everything about Terra’s show! Her writing is so very clever and the amount of information that she covers is truly astounding. Being an Anglophile myself, I was enthralled by her story telling that not only shows off her incredible knowledge but also shows off her classically trained acting and singing. Terra is exceptional.in this genre. She is witty, pithy but never cocky. I was completely engrossed in her story and was even brought to tears as she shared about her own horrible experience with bullying in college. I could listen to Terra all day telling tales of Lil Willy and the Tudor Monarchy. I say, BRAVO and ENCORE please!
What I didn't like
The theater was unbearably stuffy.
My overall impression
Terra’s show was completely entertaining and educational. I guess you could call it edutaining. She is ever so smart, educated, talented and I experienced every range of emotions from laughing out loud at her hilarious humor and pithy puns to crying as she shared so vulnerably about the depression she experienced in college. I am so grateful that Terra found her voice in the theater because hers is a voice worth hearing! I have seen scores of solo shows and this one BY FAR is one of my absolute favorites!
