I liked the very specific tempo changes the performer used to show the audience that we were moving into flashbacks. I appreciate how each gesture was specifically chosen, but that she didn’t feel precious and could let go of control to have emotional truth.
What I didn't like
I really can’t think of anything I didn’t like.
My overall impression
This is a good story well told. Because the performer has a deep investment in the story she shares, the whole thing is very moving without falling into the trap is self-pity. This show is super fun.
