What I liked

The young actors and Mr. Benjamin were fabulous. I loved the use of music and the staging was perfect for the space. Great costumes, sets and lighting which perfectly set the mood for the show as well.

My overall impression

Titus Jr. is bloody brilliant! I was so impressed with the level of understanding the young actors had with the text of Titus Andronicus as it is (in my opinion) one of Shakespeare’s more difficult plays. I had no idea what to expect when I sat down to watch Titus Jr. and I am happy to say that I thoroughly enjoyed the whole show. I especially loved the twist ending (which I won’t give away). Kudos to Mr. Benjamin and his drama class at Dawson Middle School! This is a must-see show at Fringe, don’t miss it!
