What I liked

I liked the stage, setting, & environment. Upon entering you were given the middle school play theatre program, and when the play was over you get the real program as you exit. The kids were a lot of fun, and I liked how the Director’s madness paralleled Titus’ madness and was incorporated into the story.

What I didn't like

I think the play could have been trimmed down, by shortening some of the pauses, and tightening it up by a few minutes. It was violent, but I thought it could have been pushed even further, even more ridiculous.

My overall impression

I enjoyed the concept: Having 8th graders perform Shakespeare’s most violent play ever! It was a clever & funny idea that was executed well.
