What I liked

Michael Shaw Fisher and Ben Moroski have a stage dynamic that is thoroughly engaging. Their performances alone are worth going to see this show. Michael Shaw Fisher gives us a multi layered, nuanced and at times hilarious translation of his character. At the same time Ben Moroski explodes onto stage with charisma and energy. The interaction between them is tight and really fun to watch. Both performances are multi textured, detailed, fun, and tragically human.

The set up of the story takes a minute, getting to know these characters is a trip, and the last 20 minutes of the show I basically couldn’t tear my eyes away from the stage. So yeah, I’d recommend getting in to see Tilt while you can.

What I didn't like

The funny thing is, what I didn’t “like”, I found absolutely necessary to the show, so…….

The show’s pacing moves like waves, it peaks then lulls several times. When the show was in its quiet moments my mind wandered a few times. But when these guys are on fire and in the conflict, it’s impossible to ignore. If the entire show had been that high energy it wouldn’t have worked. So, while I will say there is some quietness to the show, it was needed to give us and the actors a second to rest for the next big ramp up.

My overall impression

Great work. Incredibly talented Actors. A very interesting story told in tandem. Good show, go see it!
