What I liked

This was darn good storytelling. The promotional blurbs undersold how sweet a tale this was. The main character talks poignant memories punctuated by well-paced humor. And Kenyon transforms entirely in one act into the second character, Larry. This was a moving, humorous blend of storytelling and performance art.

What I didn't like

Well, yeah, it kind of deals in cliches at times (hippies in communes and PTSD veterans), but the way they’re woven together (and put together within the story, even) is special and charming. There was one scene involving a circling helicopter, and the sound seemed to just keep repeating the same loop. That was a bit distracting.

My overall impression

I’d recommend it to others. Know you’re not going for high production values or anything, but to see a performer truly live out the story she’s telling. This is a charming, moving tribute to the power of the sibling bond.
