My overall impression

An absolute MUST SEE this year at Fringe. In terms of writing quality, performance craft, and overall polish, I have no doubt “Thirteen’s Spring” ranks at the top for this year’s festival offerings. This story is artfully constructed and beautifully executed by four gorgeous MAC members. As an audience we felt it all: the clunky exuberance of youth, the elation of first love, and the heartbreak when it’s suddenly, irrationally ripped away by a country turning against its own people. The audience was riveted from start to finish. It’s just a shame there wasn’t a second act.

**New actors and/or predominantly film actors interested in the stylistic differences between screen and stage acting should definitely check this out. This piece is a beautiful example of what theatre and solid theatre technique is capable of achieving. So refreshing!
