About the Project
One week ago, Amy’s boyfriend proposed to her- and she said “no.” Now she’s paying out-of-pocket, to a fancy therapist she found on Yelp, to find out why. However, the therapist- pricey and published- is currently going through a divorce and dealing with a daughter who hates her. Told through a sequence of therapy sessions, Amy struggles to reveal her personal life while the therapist tries to keep hers a secret. But when truths are revealed, the women are left unraveled, unhinged, and uncertain as to who should have been paying whom – and whether or not good Yelp can ever really equate to good help.
