My overall impression
Most people accept a corporate relocation package without really knowing if what they are being offered is standard or on the low end. Companies are not always upfront about everything that can be included and a lot of employees just take the first offer without asking. Things like temporary housing, storage, travel for family members, and lease break costs are often negotiable but only if you know to ask. Spent some time on https://purereloservices.com/service/corporate-relocation/ before my last relocation and it gave a much clearer picture of what a proper package looks like. Went back to HR with better questions and ended up with a noticeably better deal
