What I liked

This was what I probably love most about theatre that you can’t get from television or film: a piece chalk-full of precisely choreographed movement and stage pictures that place a focus on the immediacy of breathing the same air as the performers on stage. It also doesn’t hurt that Metamorphosis is one of my favorite stories of all time. I felt that this production captured perfectly the anxiety and torture of the central character and that it effectively sparked my imagination without need of prosthetics or large set pieces. It’s a great meditation on the social ills of adult responsibility and how that responsibility can negate personal desire, causing the central character to become unrecognizable to himself and feeling like a servile burden to his family.

What I didn't like

My overall impression

A great cerebral piece of movement and acting that sparks the imagination like a timeless horror show. It that captures the tortured spirit of the original story perfectly.
