What I liked
I really loved just about everything!!! The “stories” were very funny, quite interesting and wide-ranging and yet I loved how some of the stories connected and continued on. The performances were incredible!! I was amazed at the subtle nuances the actors were able to throw in that enhanced the realism of their characters. The comedic timing, particularly by Tim Bagley and Bridget Sienna, added depth and showed what pros they all are!
What I didn't like
I seriously liked everything but the production seemed VERY short, partly because it was and partly because it was SO good, it seemed to end even quicker than it actually did! I could have sat through a whole other show EASILY!!!
My overall impression
With it’s unique format, amazingly diverse subject matter, impeccably quirky and hysterical writing and the masterfully nuanced performances, “Charlotte’s Shorts” epitomizes what the Fringe Festival is and should be. Everyone involved should be very proud and I am sure they are ALL folks we will be seeing and hearing from a lot more in the future!
