What I liked
I was so incredibly touched by this show at the heart level. It is what Theatre is all about, when you leave changed because the experience. As Shadley Grei tell his unique and often times, unbelievable (but true) stories he shows honesty, vulnerability, courage and his sense of humor about it all shines through. One moment I was laughing out loud and the next I wanted to jump up on stage and give him a hug. He creatively uses a mix of cartoon drawings to add to his storytelling. Great idea! Shadley is a natural storyteller, I think it is one of his gifts in life. Don’t miss this show!
What I didn't like
I can’t say anything. I did leave the theatre wanting more. I could sit down with him and ask all kinds of questions about the people in his stories. His experiences were quite fascinating.
My overall impression
Genuine, Real, Brave, Funny and wow what a unique story. Shadley is a natural storyteller who captures the essence of his crazy and challenging life experiences and presents it in a funny and heartfelt way. It was entertaining and thought provoking.
