What I liked

Tony Foster’s writing is beautifully layered, and does a great job of constantly hitting two notes at once. Casting was spot-on, and everyone is fun to watch. The ensemble careens from hilarity to poignancy to tenderness and back again, with ease and aplomb. This is definitely the type of show where you will pick up new things on a second viewing. Well done.

What I didn't like

It is so rare that a theater piece might actually benefit from being longer (as the opposite is more frequently true). While much of this show’s fun and charm comes from a quick pace of entrances and exits, letting the characters and story breathe a bit might make for better absorption of everything that’s taking place in front of the audience. It’s a really fun show, but there’s a lot to process in 55 short minutes.

My overall impression

I really enjoyed this show. It is rare to see something that makes you want to go back for a second performance…
