What I liked
The creators of Break-in choose to not only entertain the audience, but to do it in a very intelligent and original manner. Stage comedy walked into the big screen at the beginning of the silent era, and (silent) cinema somehow walks onstage in Break-in; I was tickled by the flashback structure of the play, the concatenation of high paced scenes that almost seemed to be “edited” together, and, above all, by the endearing, alienated protagonist of the play, that reminded me of the fabulous Buster Keaton. Amazing performance by Lisa Cordileone, that conducts the comedy with the whole of her body.
What I didn't like
My overall impression
An intelligent show that entertains the audience in a very original manner. Great performance by Lisa Cordileone; she creates comedy with the whole of her body.
