Loved the show. Very clever writing... it should be a webseries. Tracy Podell and Matt Boehm were very funny; everyone's stylized performances very much worked. Well done.... full review

I thought the musical was great! The cast was terrific and I loved the two leads. Tracy (who plays Penny) was terrific and sounds great. Matt was also awesome and the ensemble did a great job of individualizing themselves as well.... full review

Great, entertaining show that moves quickly and does a great job of transitioning between ridiculousness and satire. Plenty of laughs and some songs that will get stuck in your head in a good way.... full review

This show was amazing. I've seen a lot of shows at the festival that were good, but this was far and away the best. The writing was incredible. It's hard with a musical to strike the right balance of comedy, meta-jokes and fun with an interesting story, and this show really did it, 100%. The direction was also fantastic. The show always moved at a clip and there was never a dull moment. Ever. The acting was really top-notch, as well, and the music was memorable and catchy. I had a few stuck in my head for a few days after the show. I really, really hope a producer picks this show up and allows it to run somewhere else after the festival, because it really is one of the best things I've seen in a long, long time. This show needs to keep... full review

Great music, fantastic performances overall. The Milford Project answers questions I never asked and solved some scandalous problems I never knew I had! LOTS of fun and a great way to spend an evening.... full review
BRIGHT EYES PRODUCTIONS uncertified reviewer June 20, 2011
This is a show I wanted to like and kept hoping it would come up to expectations. The show is written from the point-of-view of very bright 16-year-old, i.e. all wisdom resides in the teenagers and the adults are doltish, stereo-types, as seen through the eyes of an adolescent. (In that regard, it's a lot like the musical "Spring Awakening", which takes a similar stance.). Everyone works very hard to be entertaining, which I appreciated, but many of (what I suppose were) the clever and topical lyrics were lost through sloppy diction. However, the audience seemed to enjoy it, so it's probably me being my curmudgenly self. Kevin Oeser and his cohorts are a very talented bunch of guys. I just hope that for their next project, they'll turn their... full review

A really hilarious energetic parody musical. Some really great timing, on the rapid fire jokes kept all of us belly laughing throughout, as the characters simultaneously displayed sincere passion and bizarre genre-busting satire a la "family guy" (an audience fav was the lampooning of science cliches: eg as a character walked off stage "mumble, mumble, science word, mumble.") The musical both took itself completely seriously and poked self-reflexive fun all in the same breath, which made for a really unpretentious, fun time. While the limitations of the acoustic space have been documented in other reviews, I was really impressed with the quality of the music and the amount of really smart jokes packed into the songs, I especially loved the ... full review

That was a lot of damn fun! A very engaging cast that carries off some preposterous episodes with style and witty comic panache. All hail, Science!... full review
