What I liked

This is a perfect one person show, we get to see two very different very real perspectives on a historical/political situation that is (frighteningly) not unimaginable. The thing that makes this show so excellent is the specificity in the lives of the two storytellers. There is probably a temptation in a sci-fi futurist fable to front load it with a bunch of narrative exposition up front. Just so your audience knows where we are and what the setting is, but in this show that sneaks its way in slowly over the full course of the show. And some important bits of history are left unexplained because they’re not important to the stories of the protagonists. So what we end up with is two really good human stories. On wildly opposite sides and points of view.

Sometimes I wonder how anybody in the world would ever cast a vote for Donald Trump, and this play very elegantly shows us how that happens. It shows us that the people casting the votes aren’t at fault. It shows us that it depends on what we believe to be true dictates how we behave.

This show makes me miss a free impartial media. It makes me miss Walter Croncite.

What I didn't like

The tiny space was an issue before the show began, but one it started, it turns out that it was the perfect size.

My overall impression

Brilliant. Go see this. Seriously. I have no skin in this game, it was recommended to me and I went, and it is well worth your time.
