What I liked

This show was truly remarkable. The performer/writer presented a world that was at once prescient and familiar. As she moved between the characters, we saw an future America that rang true. The Performer transitioned from an ideological abuser to real victim of said ideology. We were transfixed by the performance aplomb of the “radio personality.” And we were drawn to the victim in her torture chamber. These two characters were us—on different days and different cohorts. The performer brought both a joy of delivery and a truth of situation. Her choices and quick transitions demonstrated her virtuosity. I was moved.

What I didn't like

Didn’t like is not the way to say it. I liked this entire package. I wonder if she could transition between characters in the light. What would we know about the relationships if we could see the blending as she went from one to another? Audiences love to see actors transform. The performer was so good at transforming. Would we intrude if we could watch?

My overall impression

Intelligent ideas. Expertly delivered. Wonderfully explored.
