THE LESBIAN & THE HITMAN An Original One Woman-Show Written & Performed by Erin Flowers Directed by Carl StillitanoShakespeare said every story’s already been told. That we’re all basically the same, go through the same stuff, yet each in our own unique way. THE LESBIAN & THE HITMAN is my story, written and lived by my own unique soul. My nudist, dance and live-free mother, her angry African-American Vietnam-Vet boyfriend, and my know-it-all, southern, Baptist Minister, father, all attempted to raise me in Berkeley, California. So when I graduated high school, I did the most natural and obvious thing: I moved to New York, hung out with artists, strippers, lesbians and decided I was going to be a huge star despite my f’d-upness…Yes, it’s all very cliché, or it was, until I met “The Hit Man.” Meeting him changed the course of my soul forever. This is a true story about healing, salvation and transformation. It is uplifting and inspiring, poignant and honest and thoroughly entertaining.
